The LM5039 half-bridge controller/gate driver contains all the necessary features to implement a half-bridge topology power converter, controlled using a line voltage feed-forward voltage mode. The LM5039 is a functional LM5035B half-bridge PWM controller variant with an average current limit during an overload event to balance the center point of the half-bridge capacitor divider. The floating high-side gate driver is capable of operating up to a supply voltage of 105V. The high-side and low-side gate drivers are peak at 2A. Contains an internal high-voltage start-up regulator with programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO). Single resistor programming with oscillator frequency up to 2MHz. The oscillator can also be synchronized to an external clock. The current-sense input provides cycle-by-cycle peak and average current limits. Other features include adjustable hiccup mode overload protection, soft start, revision reference, and thermal shutdown.
