Der Dual-Gate-Treiber LM5111 ersetzt Gate-Treiber nach Industriestandard, die den Spitzenausgangsstrom und die Effizienz erhöhen. Jede "Composite"-Ausgangsantriebsstufe besteht aus parallel laufenden MOS- und Bipolartransistoren sowie sinkenden kapazitiven Lasten, die Spitzen von 5 A und mehr überschreiten. Combines the uniqueness of MOS and bipolar devices to reduce drive current, voltage, and temperature variations. Eine Unterspannungsabschaltung ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Treiber kann parallel zum Eingang betrieben und an einen Stromausgang mit zwei Laufwerken angeschlossen werden. Der Baustein ist entweder in einem SOIC-8-Gehäuse oder in einem thermisch optimierten MSOP8-EP-Gehäuse erhältlich.
