LM5115A controller contains all the necessary functions, using the Postal Regulation (SSPR) technology on the secondary side to produce multiple tracking outputs. SSPR technology develops an efficient and well-regulated auxiliary output of a switch from the secondary side to isolate the waveform of the power converter. LM5115A can also be used as a stand-alone DC/DC synchronous step-down controller ( See Synchronous Buck Section ）。 The auxiliary output voltage is regulated by pulse width modulation (PWM) of the leading main channel duty cycle. Front-edge modulation is compatible with either the current mode or voltage mode control of the main output. The high-side and low-side external NMOS power switches on the LM5115A driver are configured as synchronous buck regulators. The current-sense amplifier provides overload protection and has a wide common-mode input range. Other features include a low-dropout (LDO) regulator bias regulator, error amplifier, high-precision reference, gate signal for adaptive dead time control, and thermal shutdown.
