The LM5575 IS AN EASY-TO-USE SIMPLE SWITCHER ® BUCK REGULATOR THAT ENABLES DESIGN ENGINEERS TO DESIGN AND OPTIMIZE A RELIABLE POWER SUPPLY WITH MINIMAL COMPONENTS. Operating from an input voltage range of 6 to 75V, the LM5575 delivers 1.5A of continuous output current with an integrated 330mΩn-channel MOSFET. The regulator's current-mode architecture provides the low duty cycle of current-free regulators, typically limited by inherent line gauge, tight load transient response, and easy loop compensation. The operating frequency is adjustable from 50kHz to 500kHz, allowing optimization of scale and efficiency. To reduce electromagnetic interference, the frequency sync pin allows LM(2)557x families of multiple ICs to be automatically synchronized or synchronized to an external clock. The LM5575 guarantees robustness with cycle-by-cycle current limit, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and remote shutdown. Enhanced TSSOP-16 packages are available in power equipment with a bare die bonded thermal pad. LM5575 is a full set of WEBENCH online design tool support.
