illustrate
The LM5575 IS AN EASY-TO-USE SIMPLE SWITCHER ® BUCK REGULATOR THAT ENABLES DESIGN ENGINEERS TO DESIGN AND OPTIMIZE A RELIABLE POWER SUPPLY WITH MINIMAL COMPONENTS. Operating from an input voltage range of 6 to 75V, the LM5575 delivers 1.5A of continuous output current with an integrated 330mΩn-channel MOSFET. The regulator uses an analog current-mode architecture to provide the low duty cycle of current-free mode regulators, typically limiting inherent line gauge, tight load transient response, and facilitating loop compensation. The operating frequency is adjustable from 50kHz to 500kHz, allowing optimization of scale and efficiency. To reduce electromagnetic interference, the frequency sync pin allows automatic synchronization of multiple ICs from the LM(2)557x family, or to an external clock. The LM5575 guarantees robustness with cycle-by-cycle current limit, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and remote shutdown. Enhanced TSSOP-16 packages are available in power equipment with a bare die bonded thermal pad. LM5575 is a full set of WEBENCH online design tool support.
