The LM56 is a precision low power thermostat. Two stable temperature transition points (VT1and VT2)Divided by the LM56 1.250V bandgap voltage reference, generated using 3 external resistors. The LM56 has two digital outputs. OUT1 gets low when the temperature exceeds T1 and high level, when the temperature falls below (T1 -T'sHYST )。 Similarly, the cloud of OUT2 is low when the temperature exceeds T2 and is high when the temperature is below (T2 -T'sHYST )。 THYSTis internally set to 15°C, typical hysteresis.

The LM56 is available in an 8-pin mini SO8 surface mount package and an 8-pin small outline package.
