The LM56 is a high-precision and low-power thermostat. Two stable temperature transition points (V_T1and V_T2）Divide by the LM56 1.250V bandgap reference voltage with 3 external resistors. The LM56 has two digital outputs. OUT1 becomes low, and when the temperature exceeds T1 and becomes high, the temperature is lower than (T1 - T_HYST）。 Similarly, OUT2 becomes low when the temperature exceeds T2 and becomes higher when the temperature falls below (T2-T_HYST）。 T_HYSTis internally set to 5°C typical hysteresis.

The LM56 is available in 8-pin small SO8 surface mount packages and 8-pin small outline packages.
