Using a new patent-pending circuit topology, the LM6142/LM6144 provides a new level of performance that was previously necessary to compromise on low-voltage power supplies or power constraints in applications. When operating from a 1.8V supply exceeding 24V, the LM6142/LM6144 is the best choice for battery-powered systems, portable meters, etc.

The greater than rail-to-rail input voltage range eliminates concerns about exceeding the common-mode voltage range. The output of the rail-to-rail output swing provides the maximum possible dynamic range. This is especially important when operating at low supply voltages.

The high gain bandwidth of 650μA/amplifier supply current opens up applications where new batteries can be powered at unacceptable levels of lower power consumption and lower battery life. The ability to drive large volumetric loads without wobble function removes this common problem.
