The LM6588 is a low power, high voltage, rail-to-rail input/output amplifier ideal for LCD panel V.COMDriver and gamma buffer applications. The LM6588 contains four unity-gain stabilized amplifiers in one package. It provides the ability to extend beyond the common-mode input of 0.5V from the supply rails and 50mV to either rail within an output voltage range. With these features, the LM6588 provides maximum dynamic range at any supply voltage. Operating, the LM6588 has a bandwidth of 24MHz (-3dB) from a 5V to 16V supply while consuming only 750μA per amplifier.

The LM6588 also features fast slew and settling times, accompanied by a high 75 mA continuous output capability. This output stage is designed to provide a capacitive load with a peak current of approximately 200 mA. These features are ideal for use in TFT-LCD.

The LM6588 is available in an industry-standard 14-pin SO package and a space-saving 14-pin TSSOP package. The amplifier is available over the entire -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
