The LM8261 is a rail-to-rail input and output op-amp that can operate over a wide supply voltage range. The device features a high output current driver, a large rail-to-rail common-mode input voltage range, unlimited capacitive load drive capability, and provides tested high speed and slew rate while requiring only 0.97 milliamps of supply current. It is specifically designed for applications that require processing of V-COM drivers for flat panel TFT panels as well as other medium-speed applications that are suitable for low power consumption, ease of use, and enhanced performance for existing devices.

Greater than the rail-to-rail input common-mode voltage range, common-mode suppression of 50 dB enables high-side and low-side detection in many applications without any over-range concern without accurate compromise. The extremely wide operating supply voltage range and mitigation from 2.5V to 30V provide flexibility in a wide range of applications under extreme conditions with any issues with functionality. In addition, most equipment parameters are not sensitive to changes in supply voltage, and this design enhancement is another step in simplifying its usage. The output stage has a low distortion (0.05% THD+N) and can provide minimal headroom from a respectable current (15 mA), whether it is railway (300mV).
