Hardware monitoring, LM85, two-wire digital interface compatible with SMBus 2.0. Measures using an 8-bit [Sigma] [Delta] ADC, LM85:
- The temperature of the transistors to which the two remote diodes are connected and their own dies
- CCP V, 2.5V, 3.3VSBY, 5.0V, 12V power supply (internal scaling resistance).
To set the fan speed, the LM85 has three PWM outputs controlled by one of three temperature zones. The LM85 includes a digital filter that can be called up smoothly to better control the temperature readings of the fan speed. The LM85 has 4 speed inputs to measure fan speed. Limits and status registers for all measurements are also included.
