The LM56 is a precision low power thermostat. 两个稳定的温度跳变点（VT1and VT2）除以LM56 1.250V带隙电压基准，利用3个外部电阻器产生的。 The LM56 has two digital outputs. OUT1 gets low when the temperature exceeds T1 and high level, when the temperature falls below (T1 -T'sHYST ）。 Similarly, the cloud of OUT2 is low when the temperature exceeds T2 and is high when the temperature is below (T2 -T'sHYST ）。 THYSTis internally set to 15°C, typical hysteresis.

The LM56 is available in an 8-pin mini SO8 surface mount package and an 8-pin small outline package.
