illustrate
This LMC6442 is ideal for battery-powered systems where extremely low supply currents (below amps per microamp) and rail-to-rail output swing are required. It features 2.2V to 10V operation and is supplied at 2.2V, LMC6442 ideal for single (lithium-ion) or two-cell (nickel-cadmium or alkaline) battery systems.
The LMC6442 is designed for batteries that need to be powered by low supply currents, such as smoke and gas detectors, as well as pagers or personal communication systems, with a long service life.
Operating from a single supply is enhanced with a wide common mode input voltage range, including ground remote sensing applications ground (or negative power). Very low (5 shots, typical) input bias current and stable supply near supply voltage overcurrent improve near-end life battery voltage performance for LMC6442.
For closed-loop gain designs that are larger than adding two (or minus one), amplifiers are typically 9.5 kilohertz GBWP (product of gain bandwidth). The uniform gain can be used with a simple compensation circuit, which also enables capacitive load drives up to 300 pF, as described in the application note section.
