The LMC660 CMOS op amp is ideal for single-supply operation. It uses a +5 V to 15.5 V and functional rail-to-rail output swing in addition to the input common-mode range, including ground. Exhibiting the confusion that in the past the limitations of CMOS amplifiers were not having problems with this design. Enter VOS,Drift and broadband noise as well as voltage gain for realistic loads (2 K and 600 are better than or greater than the widely accepted bipolar equivalent.
The chip is built with the state's advanced bipolysilicon gate CMOS process.
