While the LMH0302 3Gbps HD/SD SDI cable driver is designed for SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 344M and SMPTE 259M serial digital video applications. The LMH0302 chip drives a 75Ω transmission line (Belden 1694A, Belden 8281 or equivalent) with data rates up to 2.97 Gbps.

The LMH0302 chip offers two for SMPTE 259M and SMPTE 424M/292M to comply with selectable conversion rates. The output driver can be powered down through the output drive enable pin.

The LMH0302 chip uses a single 3.3V power supply. Power consumption is typically 165 milliwatts in 125 SD mode and HD mode. The LMH0302 chip is available in a 16-pin LLP package.
