illustrate
LMH2110 is a 45 dB logarithmic RMS power detector, which is particularly suitable for accurate power measurement of modulated RF signals, exhibiting a large peak-to-average ratio, i.e., envelope change in large signals. Encountering such a signal is on W-CDMA and LTE phones. The RMS measurement topology inherently guarantees modulation-insensitive measurements.
The device features an RF frequency range from 50 MHz to 8 GHz. It provides an accurate, temperature and power insensitive output voltage that is linear with the RF input power of dBm. LMH2110's excellent logarithmic response consistency makes it easy to integrate and use ramp-only intercepts, significantly reducing calibration effort. The device is available from a single supply of 2.7V to 5V. LMH2110 have RF power detection ranges from -40 dBm to 5 dBm, making it ideal for directional coupler combination. Or a resistive voltage divider can be used, and.
The device is active EN = high, otherwise it is in a low power shutdown mode. To save power and prevent external filter capacitor discharge, the output (OUT) is a high impedance during shutdown.
LMH2110 power detector provides a tiny 6-bump microSMD package.
