LMH6553 is an integrated 900 MHz adjustable output limiting clamp differential amplifier. Clamping improves system performance and provides transient overvoltage protection in the following stages. The LMH6553 internal clamping function reduces or eliminates the need to separate overload protection networks externally. When used for drives ADC The amplifier's output clamping allows for protection against damage to the input signal of the system that will be overly and heavily invested in the system. The fast overload recovery of 600 ps ensures that the amplifier's output is quickly recovered from a clamping event and quickly recovers the following input signal. The LMH6553 provides superior bandwidth, distortion and noise for drivability ADC Up to 14 bits. With external gain setting resistors and integrated common-mode feedback, LMH6553 can be configured as a differential input-to-differential output or single-ended input-to-differential output gain module.
