LMH6554 is a high-performance fully differential amplifier designed to provide excellent signal fidelity and a wide range of large signal bandwidths necessary for driving 8 to 16-bit high-speed data acquisition systems. Due to the use of National Semiconductor's proprietary differential current mode input-level architecture, the LMH6554 has a small signal bandwidth of 2.8 GHz per unit gain and allows for operation without sacrificing response flatness, bandwidth, harmonic distortion, or output noise performance gain greater than 1.

The device's low-impedance differential outputs are designed to drive the ADC input and any intermediate filter stages. LMH6554 provides a 16-bit linear drive with a low load of 200Ω, 2V peak-to-peak 75 MHz.

LMH6554 is complementary to National Semiconductor's advanced process and manufacturing of BiCMOS, which features higher performance and space-saving in a 14-pin LLP package.
