The LM3535 is a highly integrated LED driver capable of driving 8 LED large-screen display applications in parallel. Independent LED control allows for a subset of the LED display selected for 6 major local lighting applications. In addition to 6 major banks, the LM3535 is an additional 2 independently controlled LED driving support indicator application capabilities.

It is divided into three groups of independently controlled LEDs to drive current absorption. Configurable master group to drive up to 6 main phone displays using LEDs. Groups B and C provide driver assistance displays, keypads and LED indicators. All LED current sources can be individually provided with the flexibility to switch on and off for different application needs.

The LM3535 provides multi-zone ambient light sensing (depending on input options for 1 or 2 ALS), allowing for autonomous control of backlight intensity events in changing ambient light conditions. PWM input, which also provides a means for the user to dynamically adjust the backlight intensity according to the content displayed.

The LM3535 offers excellent efficiency, inductorless use, and a charge pump in 3/2 gain or transfer mode. Select the appropriate maintenance current regulation gain, based on the forward voltage of the LED, so that the efficiency is maximized in the input voltage range.

The LM3535 is available in a 20-minute bump, 0.4mm pitch, low-profile micro SMD package nationwide.
