The LMH6629 is a high-speed, ultra-low noise amplifier designed for high gain and requirements such as low-noise, optical and ultrasonic systems broadband applications such as communications, test and measurement.

While the LMH6629 operating input common mode range, underground and output swing in a single supply application, the rail extends to the 2.7 to 5.5V supply with rails in the 0.8V range. Heavy loads up to ± 250 mA drive pass with LMH6629-3dB of 900 MHz and 1600 V/μs slew rate bandwidth high frequency large signals. The LMH6629 (LLP-8 package) has a user-selectable 4 or 10 lowest pull COMP pins for high or low gain control internal compensation, thus avoiding the need for external compensation capacitors required in highly competitive equipment. Compensation for SOT23-5 packages is internally set to a minimum 10 V/V gain stabilization The LLP-8 package also provides power-down enable/disable.

Low input noise (0.69nV/) √ Hz and 2.6 PA / √ Hz), low distortion (HD2/HD3 = dBc/-94 for -90 dBc), and ultra-low DC error (800 μVV OS temperature up to ± 0.45 μV/°C drift) allow for precision in AC and DC operational coupling applications.

The LMH6629 is manufactured using a proprietary SiGe process manufactured by National Semiconductor Corporation and is available in a 3mm x 3mm 8-pin LLP in a SOT23-5 package.
