illustrate
The benchbase ™6645 (single) and LMH6646 (dual), rail-to-rail input and output voltage feedback amplifiers, provide high-speed (55MHz), and low-voltage operation (2.7V), in addition to micro-power shutdown capability (LMH6647, single).
The input common-mode voltage range from 0.3V over any power supply improves ease of use and can be used in applications in many previously inferior devices. Any supply voltage within the output voltage range is 20mV, allowing for a wide dynamic range, especially in low-voltage applications. Even with a low supply of 650μA/amplifier current, the output current capability remains at a respectable ±20 mA for driving heavier loads. Important device parameters such as bandwidth, slew rate, and output current all remain relatively independent of the combination of process improvements and design architectures for the supply voltage.
In portable applications, LMH6647 provides shutdown while maintaining a shutdown current of less than 50μA. The opening and closing features of both sides perform well, with minimal output fluctuations during conversion. This makes it possible to use some power saving modes, as well as multiplexing applications. Miniature packages (SOT23 package, MSOP-8 and SO-8) to mitigate the board area premium in applications of these low-power, high-speed devices are through further means.
