illustrate
The LMP7312 is a digitally programmable variable gain amplifier/attenuator. With a wide input voltage range and excellent accuracy, it is the perfect choice for data acquisition system applications such as programmable logic control (PLC) IO modules that require high accuracy. The LMP7312 provides differential outputs to maximize dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio, reducing overall system errors. It can also be configured with a single-ended input data converter, VOCMPin (see the details section of the application) means processing. The inputs of the LMP7312 are configurable to handle up to +/- 15V, as well as 0-20mA and 4-20mA for input signal processing in amplified mode. A guaranteed maximum gain error of 0.035% (all gains) and a maximum gain drift of 5ppm over the extended industrial temperature range (-40° to 125°C) make the LMP7312 high-precision system attractive, even under harsh conditions. A low input offset voltage of 100μV and low voltage noise of 3μVppLMP7312 provides superior performance. The LMP7312 is fully specified from -40° to 125°C in a SOIC-14 package.
