LMP8270 is a fixed-gain differential amplifier with a A - 2V to 16V input common-mode voltage range and a 4.75V to 5.5V supply voltage range. LMP8270 is part of the LMP family of high-precision amplifiers that detects, amplifies and filters small differential signals in the presence of high common-mode voltages. The gain is fixed at 20, which is sufficient, and in most cases, the full scale of the drive ADC is sufficient. These two stages are achieved using 10 fixed-gain preamplifiers and a second-stage amplifier gain with a fixed gain of 2. The internal signal path between these two stages is to bring out two pins, A1 and A2, which provide a connection to a filter network.

LMP8270 will be used to extend the common mode input voltage, making the device suitable for load dump events, such as application functions in automotive systems.
