illustrate
LMP8601 and LMP8601Q are fixed 20x gain high-precision amplifiers. Some will amplify and filter the presence of small differential signals at high common-mode voltages. The input common-mode voltage range is -22V to +60V when operating from a single 5V supply. The 3.3V power supply has an input common-mode voltage range of -4V to 27 V. Linear single-chip high accuracy (LMP) for LMP8601 and LMP8601Q members ® Ideal for home and one-way and two-way current sensing applications. All the parameter values shown in the table are 100% tested and all bold values are also over 100% temperature tested.
The device has a precise gain that is 20 times the full scale value that provides sufficient drive ADC for the most targeted applications. The fixed gain is achieved in two different phases, the preamp, a 10x gain and the output stage buffer amplifier gain by 2x. The connection of the signal path between the two stages brings two pins, allowing for additional output buffer filtering around the amplifier. These pins can also use different gains, as described in the Applications section.
The mid-rail offset adjustment pin enables users to use these devices for bidirectional single-supply voltage, current sensing. The output signal is bidirectional, and this pin is referenced when the middle rail is connected to the positive rail. With the bias pin connected to ground, the output signal is unidirectional, ground-referenced.
LMP8601Q greatly enhances the automotive market and support processes produced, including defect detection methods. Reliability qualification meets the requirements and temperature ratings defined in the AEC Q100 standard.
