The LMP8645 and LMP8645HV are precision current sense amplifiers that sense high inputs through sense resistors and small differential voltages with common-mode voltages ranging from 2.7V to 12V.

The LMP8645 accepts input signals with common-mode voltages ranging from -2V to 42V, while the LMP8645HV accepts signals with input common-mode voltages ranging from -2V to 76V. The LMP8645 and LMP8645HV are applications, where supply current and high common-mode voltage are determining factors adjustable gain. The gain is configured with a resistor that provides a high degree of flexibility with an accuracy of up to 2% (maximum), including low gain setting resistors. Output buffering to provide low output impedance. This high-side current-sense amplifier is ideal for sensing and monitoring DC current or battery-powered system temperature, excellent AC and DC specifications, and keeping looping errors to a minimum in the current sense. While the LMP8645 is ideal for industrial, automotive and consumer applications, it is available in a TSOT-6 package.
