illustrate
LMS1487 is a bidirectional data communication line transceiver design on a low-power differential bus/high-speed multipoint bus transmission line. It is designed to balance transmission lines. It complies with the TIA/EIA RS-422-B, TIA/EIA RS-485-A and ITU recommendations and V.11 and X.27 of the ANSI standard. LMS1487 combines a three-state ™ differential line driver and a differential input receiver, both of which operate from a single 5.0V supply. Drive and receive high-effective and active-low, externally connected directional control functions respectively. The differential input internal connections of the driver and receiver form a differential input/output (I/O) bus design that provides a minimum load bus whenever the driver is disabled or the V CC = 0V port. These ports feature a wide range of positive and negative common-mode voltages, making the device suitable for multi-point applications in noisy environments. LMS1487 is an 8-pin SOIC and an 8-pin DIP package. This is a drop-down socket to replace the MAX1487 for Maxim
