illustrate
LMS75ALS176A is a differential bus/line transceiver designed for bidirectional data communication over a multipoint bus transmission line. It is designed to balance transmission lines. It complies with ANSI standards TIA/EIA RS-422-B, TIA/EIA RS485-A and ITU recommended V.11 and X.27. LMS75ALS176A combines a three-state ™ differential line driver and a differential input receiver, both of which operate from a single 5.0V supply. The driver and receiver have positive high and positive low enabled, respectively, and can be externally connected to the directional control function. The differential input internal connections of the driver and receiver form a differential input/output (I/O) bus design that provides a minimum load bus whenever the driver is disabled or the V CC = 0V port. These ports feature a wide range of positive and negative common-mode voltages, making the device suitable for multi-point applications in noisy environments. LMS75ALS176A is in an 8-pin SOIC package. This is a SN75ALS176A drop in the socket replacement TI.
