LM26400Y is a monolithic, dual-output, fixed-frequency PWM step-down DC/DC regulation in a 16-pin LLP or thermally enhanced ETSSOP package. LM26400Y minimum number of external elements and internal loop compensation for ease of use. The drive capability of the internal 175mΩNMOS 2A load switch is the result of state-of-the-art 0.5 micron BiCMOS technology in a high-power density design. World-class control circuitry with a low on-time of 40 ns to support high-frequency conversion over the entire input voltage range of 3V to 20V and output voltage of only 0.6V. LM26400Y uses peak current mode control and internal compensation to provide a wide range of line and load conditions for high-performance regulation. The switching frequency is set internally to 500kHz, an optimal size and thermal trade-off for a wide range of applications. Due to the asynchronous architecture, more than 90% efficiency is easy to achieve. External shutdown to make the two channels open and closed separately. Other features include programmable soft-start circuitry to reduce inrush current, pulses through pulse current limiting and frequency foldback, integrated bootstrap structure, and thermal shutdown.
