illustrate
LMV1088 amplify the near-field voice signal within 4 cm of the microphone, while rejecting far-field noise greater than 0.5 meters of the microphone. Far-field rejection of up to 20dB is possible in a properly configured and calibrated system.
Some PowerWise ® energy-efficient solutions in homes consume 1mA of power LMV1088, while DSP solutions that consume more than 10 times the power provide superior performance.
A quick calibration during manufacturing testing allows LMV1088 to compensate for the entire microphone system. This calibration includes microphone gain and frequency response, as well as acoustic path difference mismatches. LMV1088 EEPROM on the board stores the calibration factor. Calibration starts with I2C commands or pin controls.
The dual microphone inputs are differential to provide superior immunity to interference. The microphones of the internal low-noise bias power supply are biased.
