The LMV1099 is an analog analog IC for both uplink and downlink speech clarity enhancements, making it ideal for mobile phones. Uplink voice clarity improves rejection through a unique dual-microphone solution Far-field noise. Downlink speech intelligibility improves the noise environment between the voice and the user's handset and SNR (signal-to-noise ratio).

The LMV1099 maintains a microphone close-range voice signal in the upward near-field range while rejecting far-field noise that is 0.5 meters greater than from the microphone.

The LMV1099 also enhances environment-based downlink speech clarity for near-field SNR users. The analog circuitry adapts to both the ambient noise environment of the dynamic user and the amplitude of the downstream signal to ensure the best SNRI (Signal-to-Noise Ratio Improvement). The downstream path also reaches the user's handset with an adjustable high-pass filter for uplink noise attenuation to enhance the downlink before the signal-to-noise ratio is attenuated.

With a digital noise reduction solution, full analog low-power LMV1099 increases voice clarity in uplink and downstream processing without DSP-type artifacts, distortion or delay.
