LMV225/LMV226/LMV228 30 dB RF power detectors are used in CDMA and WCDMA applications. The device features an RF frequency range from 450 MHz to 2 GHz. It provides an accurate temperature and power-compensated output voltage with dBm RF input power linearity. The circuit is powered from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. The LMV225/LMV226/LMV228 have an integrated filter for average power detection of low-ripple CDMA signals with a dynamic range of 30 dB. The use of an external capacitor can be applied to additional filtration.

The LMV225 already has an RF power detection range from -30 dBm to 0 dBm, making it ideal for direct use in combination with resistive taps. The LMV226/LMV228 has a detection range from -15 dBm to 15 dBm and is intended for use in combination with directional couplers. The LMV226 is equipped with a buffer output, which makes it suitable for GSM, EDGE, GPRS and TDMA applications.

The device is actively enabled=Hello, otherwise it is a low-power downtime mode. The output will be low during shutdown. The output voltage range is from 0.2V to 2V and can be reduced to meet the input range requirements of the ADC.

The LMV225/LMV226/LMV228 power detectors are available in 1.0 mm× 1.0 mm× 0.6 mm micro SMD packages and ultra-thin 1.0 mm× 1.0 mm× 0.35 mm micro SMD packages. The LMV225 and LMV228 are also available in LLP packages × 2.2 mm× 2.5 mm, and 0.8 mm.
