And LMH0344 3 Gbps HD/SD SDI adaptive cable equalizer is designed to balance the data transmitted over the cable (or any media with similar dispersion loss characteristics). The EQ operates at a wide range of data transfer rates from 125 Mbps to 2.97 Gbps and supports SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 344M and SMPTE 259M.

LMH0344 chip realizes DC recovery to correct processing of conditional pathological data. The EQ can drive any single or differential configuration.

Other features include independent carrier detection and outputs that can be muted when connected together with silent pins for the presence of no signal. A programmable mute reference is provided for signal degradation in silence, selectable horizontal output.

The device is available in two space-saving packages: a 4× 4 mm 16-pin LLP or even a more space-saving 3 x 3 mm 25-ball microarray package.
