The LMV7231 is a 1.5% accurate hex window comparator that can be used to monitor the supply voltage. The device uses a reference value of 400mV inside the comparison row. The comparator setpoint can be set via an external resistor divider. The LMV7231 has 6 outputs (CO1 - CO6) for each power supply input undervoltage or overvoltage event. An output (AO) also provides a signal when the power input has an overvoltage or undervoltage event. This capability signals individual power input undervoltage or overvoltage events, in addition to adding an output signal to the power input for unmatched system protection in any case.

The LMV7231's +2.2 V to +5.5 V supply voltage range, low supply current, and higher input/output voltage range than V+ make it ideal for a power monitoring application. Guaranteed to operate in the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The device is available in a 24-pin LLP package.
