The LMV7231 is a 1.5% accurate hex window comparator that can be used to monitor supply voltages. The device uses a reference value of 400mV inside a comparison line. The comparator set point is programmable via an external resistor divider. The LMV7231 has 6 outputs (CO1 - CO6) signals for each power supply to input undervoltage or overvoltage events. An output (AO) also provides a signal when the power input is any event with overvoltage or undervoltage. This capability signals for individual power input undervoltage or overvoltage events, in addition to adding an output signal and other unmatched system protection capabilities against the power input.
The LMV7231's +2.2 V to +5.5 V supply voltage range, low supply current, and higher input/output voltage range than V+ make it ideal for a power supply monitoring application. Guaranteed operation over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range. The device is available in a 24-pin LLP package.
