The LMZ10503EXT SIMPLE SWITCHER ® Power Module is a complete, easy-to-use DC-DC solution that has excellent power conversion efficiency, output voltage accuracy, line and load regulation load capacity of 3A. The LMZ10503EXT is an innovative package that improves thermal performance and welding robots or permits.

Acceptable LMZ10503EXT input voltage rails between 2.95V and 5.5V and provide adjustable output voltages as low as 0.8V and highly accurate. One megahertz fixed-frequency PWM switches provide a predictable EMI characteristic. The two external compensation elements can be adjusted to be set for the fastest response time, while allowing the option to use ceramic and/or electrolytic output capacitors. External programmable soft-start capacitors facilitate controlled start-up. The LMZ10503EXT is a reliable and powerful solution with the following features: lossless cycle-by-cycle peak current limiting protection against overcurrent or short-circuit faults, thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, and pre-bias start-up.
