The LMZ12001EXT SIMPLE SWITCHER ® Power Module is an easy-to-use step-down DC-DC solution for driving with excellent power conversion efficiency, line and load regulation, and an output accuracy of 1A load capacity. The LMZ12001EXT is an innovative package that improves thermal performance and welding robots or permits.
The LMZ12001EXT can accept 4.5V to 20V input voltage rails and offers adjustable output voltages as low as 0.8V and highly accurate. The LMZ12001EXT requires only three external resistors and four external capacitors to complete the power solution. The LMZ12001EXT is a reliable, rugged design with the following protection features: thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, output current limiting, and allows entry into the start-up of the pre-biased output. A single resistor regulates switching frequencies up to 1MHz.
