The LMZ12003 SIMPLE SWITCHER power module is an easy-to-use step-down DC-DC solution for driving with excellent power conversion efficiency, line and load regulation, and an output accuracy of 3A load capacity. The LMZ12003 is an innovative package that improves thermal performance and welding robots or permits.

The LMZ12003 can accept 4.5V to 20V input voltage rails and provides adjustable output voltages as low as 0.8V and highly accurate. The LMZ12003 only requires three external resistors and four external capacitors to complete the power solution. The LMZ12003 is a reliable, rugged design with the following protection features: thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, short circuit protection, output current limiting, and allows entry into the start-up of the pre-biased output. A single resistor regulates switching frequencies up to 1MHz.
