The LMZ14202's SIMPLE SWITCHER ® power module is an easy-to-use step-down dc-to-dc solution capable of excellent power conversion efficiency, line and load regulation, and output accuracy driving 2A loads. LMZ14202 is an innovative solution that enhances thermal performance and allows manual or machine welding.
The LMZ14202 accepts input voltage rails between 6V and 42V and provides adjustable and highly accurate output voltages down to 0.8V. The LMZ14202 requires only three external resistors and four external capacitors to complete the power solution. The LMZ14202 is a safe, reliable, powerful design with the following protection features: thermal shutdown, input undervoltage lockout, output overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, output current limiting, and allows entry into a prebiased output startup. A single resistor regulates the switching frequency up to 1 MHz.
