Product Introduction

The LP211 and LP311 devices are low-power versions of the industry-standard LM211 and LM311 devices. They take the stable, high-value advantage of ion implantation resistors to perform the same functions as the LM311 series, in reducing power consumption, but only a 30:1 response time slows down to 6:1. They are ideal for battery-powered applications and fast response times are all there and no other applications are needed. They operate over a wide supply voltage range, from ± 18 V to a single 3-V with a reduced leakage current supply than a 300μA leakage current but still drive a load capacity of 25 mA. The LP211 and LP311 are fairly easy to apply oscillation-free, if precautions are taken to minimize output spurious coupling to the input or trim pins.
