The LP2981 is a 100 mA, fixed output voltage regulator designed to meet the requirements of battery-powered applications.
Using an optimized VIP (vertically integrated PNP) process, the LP2981 delivers unmatched performance in a variety of specifications critical to battery-powered designs:
Voltage difference. This is typically a load of 200 mV @ 100 mA, and a load of 7 mV @ 1 mA.
Ground pin current. Typically 600 μ A@ 100 mA load, and 80 μ A@ 1 mA load.
Sleep mode. ON/OFF pins with quiescent currents below 1μA are pulled low.
Precision output. 0.75% tolerance output voltage (Class A).
9 voltage options, from 2.5V to 5.0V, are available as standard.
