The LP2981 is a 100 mA, fixed output voltage regulator designed to meet the requirements of battery-powered applications.
Using an optimized VIP (Vertically Integrated PNP) process, the LP2981 delivers unmatched performance in a wide range of specifications key to battery-powered designs:
Voltage difference. Typically a load of 200 mV @ 100 mA, and a load of 7 mV @ 1 mA.
Ground pin current. Typically 600 μ A@ 100 mA load, and 80 μ A@ 1 mA load.
Sleep mode. The ON/OFF pin with quiescent current below 1μA is pulled down.
Precision output. 0.75% tolerance output voltage (Class A).
