The LP2985 is a 150 mA, fixed output voltage regulator that offers ultra-low dropout and a low-noise design for battery-powered applications.
Using an optimized VIP (Vertically Integrated PNP) process, the LP2985 delivers unmatched performance in a wide range of battery powered designs key to a wide range of specifications:
Differential voltage: typically a load of 300 mV @ 150 mA and a load of 7 mV @ 1 mA.
Ground Pin Current: Typically 850 μ A@ 150 mA load, and 75 μ A@ 1 mA load.
Enhanced stability: The LP2985 has an ESR of as low as 5MΩ with the output capacitor, which makes the output stable using ceramic capacitors.
Sleep Mode: The ON/OFF pin with quiescent current below 1μA is pulled down.
Smallest possible size: SOT-23 and micro SMD packages use the absolute minimum board space.
Precision Output: 1% accurate output voltage (Class A).
