The LP339 consists of four independent voltage comparators, designed to operate from a single supply and plot a typical 60μA power supply where the leakage current exceeds the supply voltage extensively. The operation of the separate power supply may also be independent of the supply voltage from the leakage current of the ultra-low power supply. These comparators also have a common mode range, which includes ground, even when operating from a single supply.

Applications include limiting comparators, simple analog-to-digital converters, pulse, square and delay generators; multivibrators for VCOs; High voltage logic gates. The LP339 is a specially designed interface with CMOS logic series. The ultra-low supply current makes the LP339 valuable in battery-powered applications.
