The unique feature compensation of the National FlexCap LDO allows the use of any type of output capacitor with no minimum or maximum ESR restrictions. The LP38501/3 series low-dropout linear regulators operate from a +2.7 V to +5.5 V input supply. These ultra-low dropout linear regulators respond very quickly to one-step loads, which makes them suitable for use in variations in low-voltage microprocessor applications. Developed using CMOS process (utilizing PMOS bypass transistors), LP38501/3 has low quiescent current and little change in load current.

Ground Pin Current: The load current at 3A is typically 2 mA.

Ban Mode: Typically 25 NA quiescent current when the enabling pin is pulled down.

Simplified Compensation: With any type, regardless of the output capacitance of the ESR.

Precision Output: "One" can be used with 1.5% V ADJ. Tolerance (25°C) and more than 3% line, load and temperature class versions.
