The LP38511 - 1.8 Fast Transient Response Low Dropout Regulator provides the highest performance conference for powering digital cores with AC and DC accuracy requirements. The LP38511-1.8 incorporates a proprietary control loop that enables extremely fast response to changing line conditions and load demands. Output DC voltage accuracy is guaranteed at ± 2.5%, line, load and temperature range from -40°C to +125°C The LP38511-1.8 is designed for 10uF ceramic capacitors from 2.5V input, 3.3V, 5.0V rail, and has a fixed 1.8V output. The error flag function monitors the output voltage and notifies the system processor when the output voltage drops more than 15% below the nominal value. The LP38511-1.8 provides excellent transient performance to meet the needs of high-performance digital core ASICs, DSPs, and highly intensive applications such as servers, routers/switches, and FPGAs in base stations.
