illustrate
The LP3853/LP3856 series of fast ultra-low dropout linear regulators operate from +2.5 V to +7.0 V input supplies. A wide range of preset output voltage options are available. These ultra-low dropout linear regulators respond very quickly to one-step loads, which makes them suitable for use in variations in low-voltage microprocessor applications. The LP3853/LP3856 have been developed using a CMOS process that allows low quiescent current operation with independent output load current. This CMOS process also allows the LP3853/LP3856 to operate at very low differential pressure conditions.
Dropout: Ultra-low dropout, typically at 300 mA load at 3A with a load current of 390mV and 39mV.
Ground Pin Current: Typically 4 mA at 3A load current.
Shutdown mode: Typically 10nA quiescent current when the shutdown pin is pulled down.
^Error flag: ^Error flag becomes low when the output voltage drops below 10% of the nominal value.
Readout: Needle feeling, improved in remote load adjustment.
Precision Output Voltage: Multiple output voltage options are available ranging from 1.8V to 5.0V, guaranteed accuracy of ± 1.5% ± 3.0% at room temperature (different lines, loads, and temperatures).
