This LP38691/3-ADJ CMOS low dropout linear regulator offers a reference voltage accuracy of 2.0%, extremely low dropout (250mV @ 500mA load current, OUT = 5V V), and excellent AC performance using ultra-low ESR ceramic output capacitors.

The low law firm and the thermal resistance of the SOT-223 package allow for the entire operating current, even when used in environments with high ambient temperatures.

The use of a PMOS power transistor means that there is no DC base drive current that must allow the deviation is that the ground pin current is still below 100μA, regardless of load current, input voltage, or operating temperature.

Differential pressure: 250 mV (typical) @ 500MA (typical 5V output).

Ground Pin Current: 55μA (typical) at full load.
