illustrate
The LP38841-ADJ is a high-current, fast-response regulation that keeps the output regulated with minimal input and output voltage drop. Manufactured in the CMOS process, the device operates on two input voltages: VBIAS provides the voltage to drive the gate of the N-MOS power transistor, and Vin is the input voltage that supplies power to the load. The use of external bias rail allows voltages to operate partially at ultra-low input voltages. With bipolar regulators, the power consumption CMOS architecture provides very low quiescent current at any output load current. With an N-MOS power wide bandwidth but minimal external capacitance, the transistor uses the effect of maintaining loop stability.
The fast transient response of these devices allows them to be used after powering DSPs, microcontroller core voltages, and switching power regulators. These devices are available in a PSOP package.
Differential pressure: 75 mV (typical) @ 0.8A load current.
Quiescent current: 30 mAh (typical) at full load.
Shutdown current: At 30 NA (typical), the S/D pin is low.
Precision Reference Voltage: The accuracy is 1.5% at room temperature.
