illustrate
The LP38851-ADJ is a high current, fast response that can keep the output regulator with very low input and output voltage falling voltage regulation. Manufactured in a CMOS process, the device operates from two input voltages: VBIASProvides voltage to drive the gate of the N-MOS power transistor when VINis the input voltage, which supplies power to the load. The use of an externally biased railway allows partial operation in ultraINLow voltage V. Unlike bipolar regulators, the CMOS architecture dissipates very low quiescent current at any output load. With an N-MOS power wide bandwidth but minimal external capacitance, transistors are used to maintain loop stability.
The device's fast transient response allows it to be used after powering the DSP, the core voltage of the microcontroller, and the switching power supply regulator. The device is available in PSOP 8-pin, TO-220 7-pin, and TO-263 7-pin packages.
Differential pressure: 115 mV (typical) at 800 mA load current.

Precision ADJ voltage: ±1.5%TJ = 25°C and ± 2.0°C 0% ≤ TJ ≤ +125°C in all line and load conditions
