illustrate
The LP38851-ADJ is a high-current, fast response that keeps the output regulator with very low input/output voltage drop voltage regulation. Fabricated in the CMOS process, the device operates on two input voltages: V BIAS provides the voltage to drive the gate of the N-MOS power transistor, while V IN is the input voltage to supply power to the load. The use of external bias rails allows partially to work at ultra-IN voltage low V. With bipolar regulators, the power consumption CMOS architecture provides very low quiescent current at any output load current. With an N-MOS power wide bandwidth but minimal external capacitance, the transistor uses the effect of maintaining loop stability.
The device's fast transient response allows it to be used after powering the DSP, the core voltage of the microcontroller, and the switching power supply regulator. The device is available in PSOP 8-pin, TO-220 7-pin, and TO-263 7-pin packages.
Differential pressure: 115 mV (typical) at 800 mA load current.
Low ground pin current: 10 mA (typical) at 800 mA load current.

Precision ADJ Voltage: ± 1.5% T J = 25 °C and ± 2.0 °C 0% ≤ T J ≤ +125 °C in all line and load conditions
